Who doesn’t love cinnamon buns? This recipe I am going to share with you is an old time classic and it has never failed me. I admit it takes some time to make but trust me; when they are done, you won’t regret it.
You can make cinnamon buns to go for a picnic or offer them as a treat to your workplace or even have them in the morning with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate. The options are endless.
Cinnamon Buns
makes 16 buns
For the dough
240 ml warm milk
1 tablespoon (15gr) yeast
235gr granulated sugar
1 teaspoon (5gr) salt
2 large eggs
115 ml melted butter
1450 gr all-purpose flour
For the filling
480 gr brown sugar
2 teaspoons (10gr) cinnamon
115 ml melted butter
Dough
1.In a medium bowl, combine the warm milk, the yeast and 1 pinch of sugar. Stir until dissolved. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
Filling
1.In a bowl, add the brown sugar and the cinnamon. Mix well. Pour the melted butter on top and stir.
