Oatmeal cheese omelette

It’s been a long time since I shared a recipe with you. So, this week is omelette week.

If you are hungry and want to make something really fast, then an omelette is a strong candidate. This 3 ingredient super easy omelette is something I make for my daughter very often and it’s a quick solution with high nutritional value. You are going to love it.


Oatmeal Cheese Omelette

makes 1 small omelette



2 tablespoons ground oatmeal

1 tablespoon cottage cheese

1 large free-range egg

Seasoning



1.In a bowl, beat the egg lightly. Add the cottage cheese and the oatmeal.

2.Mix them very well and add your seasoning. My favorite combination is 1 teaspoon of oregano, 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika and a pinch of ground garlic.

3.Preheat a 6-inch pan (15cm) over medium-high heat. Pour the mixture in the pan and let it cook for 4-5 minutes on one side. When it’s ready, flip it on the other side and let it cook for another minute.

4.Remove the omelette from the pan and let it cool for 10 minutes. Enjoy!
