This article I have been meaning to do for a very long time and I have decided that this is the right time. Several people have asked me what my morning routine is and how I am so energetic and hyped up every morning. Well, to be honest my morning routine suits my needs, which means that your morning routine should suit YOUR specific needs.

I am so happy to share with you the 3 steps I follow every morning the second I wake up. Feel free to make any alterations you want. The important thing here is to stick to it. I have said it a million times before and I am saying it once again, consistency is key. Without further ado, let’s go.
Wake up at the same time every day. For me it’s 8.15-8.30 am. There are a lot of people that claim that the earlier you wake up the better it is. Like 5 am or 6 am. Yeah... I am still working on that, although I intend to do it in the future. Also, it can really tempting to hit that snooze button but try to wake up at the very first ringing. After a few days or weeks, it may become such a habit that you will find yourself waking up at that time without the help of an alarm clock.
Stretch. I am not the type of person that is going to jump right out of bed. However, I don’t fancy staying in bed forever. What gives me a very nice morning sensation is to stretch. Really feel your back and hands stretching and releasing any tension you might have built up from the previous day… Oh such a great feeling. Personally, I love child’s pose. That is because my back usually feels a bit sore in the morning and child’s pose is a great way to relieve all that stress. I like to sit there for like 3-4 minutes and take a few deep breaths. Also, this is the time I really focus on stretching and releasing all the stress, rather than thinking my schedule for the day.
Speak your mantras. The third and last step is getting myself pumped up for the day. I say out loud two or three motivational quotes that come to my mind and really need to hear starting my day. This is such a nice moment because it puts me in the reality I want. Head over to my article with my choice of motivational quotes and choose for yourself. An alternative to this is that you can write them down in a journal. I have a journal specifically for this. This is an extra step I do whenever I have enough free time.
After these 3 steps, I can start off my day right, having the ideal mindset. And, as a great guru has always advised; everything we do, we must do it joyfully. Easier said than done you may say, but give it a try. After all, your reaction to every situation is your decision.
That’s it people. This is my 3-step morning routine for productivity, success and gratitude. Comment down below and tell me your morning routine. Like this post and share it with your friends.
